This is a tremendous bit of kit. With a GTX260 I have been playing Crysis2, Black Ops and Far Cry 2 at full whack and the CPU load is only at around 25-30. Encoding large video files is pretty fast too. Ok so Intel chips are apparently better when it comes to games but this still has what it takes and is cheaper than buying Intel. And in some respects it outshines them, particularly at multi threading. At the end of the day this is a beast of a CPU and coupled with a decent new motherboard will keep you from upgrading for at least 5 years.
