What they say about us

As we mentioned in yesterday’s blog post it is always great to hear when our customers say nice things about us, and we’ve got a growing number of testimonials (here) from Schools & Businesses that use our computers and appreciate the extra mile we go for them.

It’s also good when publications we read and respect take notice and rate us too.

Every year Which? survey their exceptionally discerning (and professionally fussy) readers  and for the second year in a row they ranked Novatech very highly – in fact second only to some fruity mob in Cupertino California… but ahead of every other brand you could name.    Please do have a look at their site (here) but it explains that:

“Our unique survey of thousands of computer users reveals which brands to trust – and which to avoid. The table below shows the brands in order of their owners overall satisfaction and likelihood to recommend to a friend.”

Customer score for desktop brands
Brand score
Apple 94% 94%
Novatech 80% 80%
Sony 79% 79%
Medion 73% 73%
Dell 71% 71%
Acer 70% 70%
Asus 68% 69%
Fujitsu-Siemens 67% 67%
HP 66% 66%
Compaq 62% 62%
Advent 59% 59%
Mesh 61% 59%
Packard Bell 53% 58%
eMachines 54% 54%

We don’t like to blow our own trumpet, but we think that that is quite good for a relatively small UK manufacturer…. It’s quite an impressive list of brands that we outshine.  (I’m sorry, Dell who?)

Another publication whose opinion is worth listening to is Computer Active.  It is the UK’s biggest selling Computer magazine and theyconsider our new Nspire laptops so highly they gave them their coveted ‘buy it!’ rating. You can read James Temperton’s review here or see his video review below.

“The Novatech nSpire Pro 2540 is a really impressive laptop that makes use of some of the best mobile computing technology around.” Computer Active

Magic Monday Hardware Promo: HP Deskjet 2050

There’s no two ways about it: printers are expensive. In fact, a rather heated office discussion led to the conclusion that buying new ink cartridges for a home printer is often more expensive that simply buying a new one. The HP Deskjet 2050 is definite proof of this theory. At a mere £19.99, this multifunction printer has a lot to offer (especially as the average cost of a new ink cartridge these days seems to be a lot more!). What exactly? I’m glad you asked, Billy!

  • Compact and stylish inkjet printer and scanner
  • Simple, intuitive controls for quick and easy printing, scanning and copying
  • Standard resolution of 4800 x 4800 dots per inch (great for high quality printing)
  • Prints at speeds of 20 pages per minute in monochrome and 16 pages per minute in colour
  • Supports the printing of lots of different kinds of media including labels, photo paper, transparencies, envelopes, cards and iron-on transfers

So what are you waiting for? Why bother with more expensive ink cartridges when you might as well get yourself an upgrade in the process? Be sure to snap up an HP Deskjet 2050 from Novatech before it’s too late!
